DeBo Chic

How have I missed being active on my own Fashion blog. As I stated in my last post Minty Lavender exactly a month back (HAWWWWWW) that I have been suffering from ‘No Internet Syndrome’.
Its been 1.5 months since I have moved house and since then we still do not have an active internet connection. Sometimes I feel living in a developed country like Australia can be a bane. The internet providers (big fish) monopolize the market leaving no scope for the customers but to be at their beck and call. Multiple complaints later there seems to be hope for some redemption. I will keep you posted.

Lets say even using 4G to submit this Fashion post makes me extremely happy. As I said in the last post I have a stash of posts shot in Nov, Dec 2015 and a few in Jan and Feb 2016 that I have to still post due to this unexpected delay.

This post was shot in Bali in November 2015. We were living in an exotic villa right up in the hills in Ubud (Bali). I loved the natural materials used even to furnish the villas. These Villas were called Bidadaari Villas and I would highly recommend them to anyone who want to have a quiet, romantic or family getaway.

I shot these pictures in the late evening sun within the villa. Beautiful wooden door panels and infinity pool made for fascinating backdrop for these pictures.

Today’s Outfit Post is Desi Boho Chic or the new term coined these days by Fashion Moghuls – DEBO.

I love anti-fit pants. I was window shopping and happened to see these gorgeous pants in Ishka. Loved all the rich zardosi and silk fabrics that were appliquéd to make these pants. I knew I had to buy this one. The fact that they were also on sale helped make the purchase easier.

I decided to team these gorgeous pants with an old tunic from Biba. Not only did the printed purple tunic compliment the colours in the appliquéd fabrics of the pants but also added to the Desi Boho feel.

I teamed the outfit with a multi coloured and patterned and beaded necklace and bright orange studs. Adding to the Boho Vibe I decided to side part my hair and braid the top left section and then twirl and pin the section and tie the remaining hair in a low ponytail.

Keeping it cool with pink and metallic flats and a swipe of bright pink lipcolour was all it took to complete the look. Not only was this a bright and colourful outfit but it was super comfortable for travelling and sight seeing.
