This Blushed peach skater skirt has been in my wardrobe for 6 years now and I have used it in so many different ways. I have used it as a layer under a short dress. I have worn it in Autumn winter with chunky cable knit sweaters and also with a tank to the beach. I recently wore it with a kurti when I was holidaying in Bali. I purchased this skirt in a sale from Ice Fashions on a whim as I was unsure if I would wear blush peach so often. I liked how soft and breathable the fabric was and also it was easy to wash. So today I am showcasing 3 different ways I have worn this gorgeous skirt on the blog.
Look 1 – Aztec and Floral Prints
When you have a plain skirt you can style it with prints. In this look I clashed two different prints. I teamed the skirt with a singlet that had Aztec prints on it. The colour of the print was in the same colour family as the blush peach skirt. I added a white cropped blazer with floral print all over it. This gave the look a girly and fun vibe. I teamed the look with super high-heeled jeweled green pumps and wore a statement gold and green necklace. The hair was side parted in natural waves and the face was very simple with some mineral powder and a hint of blush with a couple of coats of mascara.
A look that will be perfect for a brunch or dinner date with friends. To read the full post click here.
Look 2- Rose Quartz and Peach Melbourne
I teamed a geometric print short tunic with the skater skirt. This post was shot when I was 4 months pregnant and I was heading to meet a friend. I wanted to be super comfortable yet chic. I added silver and pink flat chappals and a pastel pink box bag. I played with multicolored dangling earrings and multicolored cuff. The outfit was a combination of peach and pink colour family. This was a cool breezy look for summers if you are out an about running errands or catching up for a casual cuppa with your mates. To read the full post click here.
Look 3- Blushed in Art
This is one of my most popular posts on the blog. I collaborated with Tobi who sent me a few pieces to style and one of them was the gorgeous Over-sized cold Shoulder Blush Sweater. It was A-line and long. I wanted to style it with my favorite blush peach skater skirt. It added the needed length without taking the attention away from the sweater. I teamed it with neon orange and gold huge statement earrings and a big gold dial ring. I wore my favorite oxfords in blush to complete the look. I shot this post at NGV and the brand actually emailed me about how they loved this entire look and especially how it was shot at NGV. Perfect look for Autumn and Winter get together or if you are a student it is perfect look for college. To read the full post click here
